A: Please ensure that you have granted location permissions and have an active internet connection. AntiUV requires location access to provide accurate UV index data for your current area.
A: AntiUV uses both Apple WeatherKit and Open-Meteo weather services to provide the most accurate real-time UV index data available. Data is typically updated every 15 minutes.
A: The timer calculates safe exposure time based on your skin type, SPF value, activity level, and current UV index. We follow WHO recommendations for sunscreen application intervals.
A: Please ensure that you have enabled notifications for AntiUV in your device Settings > Notifications > AntiUV. Also, check that Do Not Disturb mode is not active.
A: AntiUV requires an internet connection to fetch the latest UV data. However, the timer functionality will continue to work offline once data has been loaded.
A: This can happen on simulator builds. On real devices, the app will display your actual city and region name based on your location.
